I am an engineering at Civil Engineering Department - PUC (Brazil). I would like some information about Tornados records. Could you inform me about them? Where I can get a catalog of Tornados in America of the South?.

Dear Andreia,
We do not know any systematic data bases of tornado in South America.
Recently there was an intenational meeting in León (Spain) concerning European Convective Severe Storm ECSS 2004 and there was not any presentation about this topic from people of South america.
In the US, NOAA and specially Storm Prediction Center, SPC, has an officially tornado and severe climatology. See this site:
